Save Puppies By Eating Pizza

Who knew these two things you love so much could be enjoyed together? I bet you didn't know that there's a new concept restaurant in Phoenix that has puppies to play with while you wait for your date-night dinner.

This phenomenal place is called Pizza To The Rescue, off of Indian School Rd in Phoenix. They are a new concept that just opened in April of 2024. They have a scratch kitchen as well as being one of the ONLY places in Phoenix that have a wood-fired grill. We got to see inside their kitchen and take a peak at all of the veggies and pizza on the grill, and our mouths were watering! Their food is authentic Italian cuisine that will be sure to fill you but somehow leave you craving more! Here's a list of things my boyfriend and I ordered when we visited that we highly recommend.

Pizza To The Rescue has volunteers from Almost There: A Mom + Pups Rescue come and bring over puppies that are currently up for adoption! The goal is to find them a forever home, but the puppies also enjoy all the cuddles and attention in the world!! Don't worry, they are outside in a play-pen and can be held with supervision of a volunteer. The puppies are usually there on weekends as well as some evenings during the week. One thing to note is that if you want to ensure the puppies will be there when you arrive, please call ahead or check Pizza To The Rescue's social media channels.

The best part of this entire concept is that 25% off proceeds from EVERY pizza sale goes to Almost There Rescue. So, basically, you can feel real good about yourself just by eating Pizza. And who knows? maybe you'll end up adopting a new puppy by the time you're finishing eating. Heck, we ALMOST did. So close. When we visit again we might end up coming home with a new furry member of the family.
