Brand New Rage Art Experience

I was the first to go check out this brand new concept at Spin Art Phoenix - and I'm about to tell you all about it! As of August 11th, 2024, Spin Art has launched Rage Rooms that double as Splatter Rooms. Let me explain.

Here’s the deal: first, you suit up for safety. Then, you’re taken to their fresh new rage rooms, where they explain the rules before setting you loose. They thoroughly walk you through safety instructions and make sure you are wearing all of your protective gear so that you can have a blast without getting hurt!

Safety Gear for Rage Paint Rooms Couples Date Night

You get 30 or 45 minutes (we went for 45 to get the full experience!) to go wild with three different types of paint. They provide a bin FULL of things to smash—plates, cups, and even optional items like an old monitor or phone. Plus, you can blast your own rage or hype music on the Bluetooth speaker in this soundproof room for ultimate vibes. We definitely took advantage of this and had a jam session!

Now, here’s where the fun really begins and you are introduced to the ultimate rage art experience. You can throw paint anywhere you'd like or get creative and paint the plates to make them pretty and colorful before smashing them with hammers or other tools.

My boyfriend and I went here as a twist on our usual date nights, and we had a blast! We love to keep things new and challenge ourselves to fun activities to form a closer bond! We also consider this a form of couples therapy, oops, not sure if that's good or bad. It's definitely different is what it is!

We’ve visited Spin Art Phoenix before for their famous glow-in-the-dark splatter rooms, where you can throw paint on canvases or at the walls, but this Rage Art concept takes things to the next level. After our session, we tried a cool add-on where we used a BB gun to shoot paint balloons onto a canvas—super fun and creative! Plus, I'm quite the opposite of the artist and my skillset doesn't really align this way artistically, so I like that this is a way to still create art without having to be a professional painter!

Overall, we loved the Rage Rooms as a way to release steam while tapping into our creative side. It definitely sets the rage rooms at Spin Art Phoenix apart from all other rage rooms! So if you’re looking for a unique experience, check it out and let me know if you go!
