October in Arizona: Fall Festivals & Spooky Activities G'alore!

This is a big month for Arizona! With the weather cooling down, it's going to be the perfect season to enjoy all of the outdoor activities and fairs at the local farms! It will be a month of unique food festivals, haunted houses, Oktoberfests, concerts and more! Keep reading for all the dets.


1. Vertuccio Farms Fall Festival


Kick off the fall season at the Vertuccio Farms Fall Festival! Enjoy a day packed with family-friendly activities, including a pumpkin patch, corn maze, and much more.

2. Billy Moore Days Carnival


Come to this FREE carnival at Festivals Fields Park ! 7. The 25th Annual Mariachi and Folklórico Festival

8. 63rd Annual Phoenix Greek Festival

​

For 63 years, the Phoenix Greek Festival has been a beloved celebration of Greek culture and cuisine in Phoenix. Guests can enjoy traditional dishes like roasted lemon chicken, gyros, moussaka, and baklava sundaes, along with imported Greek beers and Ouzo flights. The festival features live music and vibrant dance performances by youth groups in traditional costumes. The "Agora" marketplace offers a variety of vendors selling jewelry, clothing, and Greek imports, while the "kid-zone" provides fun activities for children. Tickets are only $5

9. Four Peaks Brewing Oktoberfest

​

Four Peaks Brewing Oktoberfest is back for its 51st year at Tempe Town Lake! This family-friendly, three-day festival features live music from headliners Black Moods and Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, along with German food, drinks, games, and carnival rides.


New this year are exciting rides like the Freakout and Vertigo, plus fresh brews from Four Peaks Brewing. The Arizona Sports League will host adult coed volleyball, soccer, and kickball, while returning favorites include Weiner Dog Races, a celebrity bratwurst eating contest, and the Amateur Stein Holding Competition.
